It has become increasingly difficult for youth to find starter jobs and earn money toward their education or first big goals. At the same time, plenty of households have empty beverage containers piling up. BeerCanPickup bridges that gap: we connect motivated young "Collectors" with neighbours who have containers to recycle — helping youth earn while keeping more containers out of the landfill.
BeerCanPickup began with a simple observation: there was a disconnect between people with recyclable beverage containers and youth looking for accessible, flexible ways to earn. We built a platform that benefits both — strengthening communities while promoting environmental sustainability.
